I played high school basketball in Lafayette from 1967-70. Pete graduated from LSU in 1970. He was my idol. I saw him play in the Cow Palace at LSU, and have read everything I can get my hands on about his life, and wondered at how he did what he did on the court w/ half a heart. I have his Life Stories cassette from his speech in Peoria just before he died. To me, it's chilling. Thanks for making the DVD available.

I'm a huge Pistol Pete fan. I saw him play the Sixers in Philadelphia and Hershey several times. I remember watching the 68 point game...it was amazing! When Pete came to town it was definite "must see" event. I still think he is one of greatest basketball players ever...nobody even to this day can handle the basketball like the Pistol. I'm glad I have a copy of that special night.

My favorite Pistol moment: When he did a fake behind the back pass in front of Wilt Chamberlain and then took the ball to the basket.

I grew up in Covington and have admired Pistol Pete since his days at LSU and with the Jazz. I firmly believe if Pete had not injured his knee that the Jazz would still be New Orleans . I will never forget some of the games I saw as kid in the Superdome where Pete would steal the show. I also admired Pete for turning his life around with the Lord and the fine examples that he lived.

I am a member of Tiger Roar, a LSU Sports website. Being a Pistol Pete fan I had to have it (“The Night of Pistol Pete). Thanks for putting it out.

Pete Maravich was someone I watched as a kid & I thought it would be great to expose his game & accomplishments to my sons. I look forward to viewing the DVD.

I grew up in Kansas City during the 60s and 70s. Pete Maravich & Tiny Nate Archibald were my heros.

I have been trying to find a decent video on the Pistol forever. My brother and I were about 10 and 14 when Pete Maravich was in college. The first time he came to Seattle to play the Sonics was like going to see the Pope and the Beatles only much bigger!
